Springtime is the perfect time for inversions. Just as the flowers begin to push through the cold earth reaching towards the sun, their roots dig even deep down to create a strong anchor to support that skyward growth.
When you are learning to balance safely upside down, you can take a tip or 2 from the springtime flowers.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to create a strong foundation for each of the primary inversions: handstand, forearm stand, and headstand.
You’ll learn how to turn your arms into strong stems and your hands into roots, while your legs bloom upward towards the sun.
You’ll learn the basics of each inversion so you can practice safely at home or in your regular weekly yoga class, as well as variations if you’re feeling ready for more adventure.
