Prenatal Yoga

Evolve offers Prenatal Yoga Sundays from 5:30 – 6:30 PM, Wednesdays from 10:00 – 11:00 AM  and Thursdays 4:45 – 5:45 PM.  Join  Stacy Seigel, E-RYT 500, YACEP, DONA Trained Birth Doula, and Certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor for a deep and nurturing experience for the mama to be. This special class is appropriate for all levels of fitness and all stages of pregnancy. The emphasis of this class will focus on building strength, increasing stamina and flexibility, guided breath work and meditation to prepare the mama-to-be both mentally and physically for the birth of her child. Some focus will be placed on the benefits of squatting and hip opening, using gravity to aid in the birth process. The class has developed into a group of supportive, open minded women who benefit from the interaction. It is a safe, sacred space for mamas to share the joy, fears, and uncertainty of motherhood. Moms are welcome to return to class with their newborns after they have been cleared by their practitioner. Babies may attend until they crawl their way out of class! In addition, Evolve offers several other classes appropriate during pregnancy. With some slight modifications yoga can be practiced during your full pregnancy and will provide great support and nurturing. Be sure to let the instructors know at the start of class that you are pregnant so they can offer appropriate modifications. Please check our schedule and try any of the following classes:
