Prenatal Yoga
Evolve now offers Prenatal Yoga every Sunday from 6:00 – 7:00 PM. Join Stacy Seigel, RYT and Certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor for a deep and nurturing experience for the mama to be. This special class is appropriate for all levels of fitness and all stages of pregnancy. The emphasis of this class will focus on building strength, increasing stamina and flexibility, guided breath work and meditation to prepare the mama-to-be both mentally and physically for the birth of her child. Some focus will be placed on the benefits of squatting and hip opening, using gravity to aid in the birth process. Any questions, please contact Stacy directly at (240) 925-8312.
In addition Evolve offers several other classes appropriate during pregnancy. With some slight modifications yoga can be practiced during your full pregnancy and will provide great support and nurturing. Just be sure to let the instructors know at the start of class that you are pregnant so they can offer appropriate modifications. Please check our schedule and try any of the following classes:
