Meditation is a means of transforming the habits of the mind. It helps to develop concentration, clarity, and emotional positivity. By engaging with a particular meditation practice one learns the patterns and habits of the mind, and the practice offers a means to cultivate new, more positive ways of being. With discipline and patience these calm and focused states of mind can deepen into profoundly tranquil and energised states of mind. Such experiences can have a transformative effect and can lead to a new understanding of life.
Please come by to experience a few moments where you can slow down from your fast paced lifestyle and take time to focus on yourself . . . being centered, balanced, and fully present. Plan to wear comfortable clothing, and bring a cushion for sitting in a comfortable position. Meditations with Chip will occur twice a month. The 2nd Friday of the month is a 1 hour guided experience from 7:00 – 8:00 PM and the 4th Friday of the month is 30 minutes timed and silent, 7:00 -7:30. All are welcome. A donation is appreciated.
