Join us for a very special evening at Evolve with Robin Patino.
Believe in your own power and in the good in others. The Koshas – one of the core philosophies of yogic teaching – give us a map of how to be powerful in the face of whatever life presents us. They show us the way to health and healing by aligning each layer of ourselves – physical, energetic, personality, wisdom and ultimately, bliss. Learn more about these powerful teachings, as discussed in the new book, Do You Think You Will Break? Stretching Head, Hips & Heart in My Search for Happiness.
- To begin: Yin Yoga and meditation practice designed to open head, hips & heart
- Discussion of the Koshas, supported by practical excerpts read from the book
- Community exercises facilitated by mentoring expert, Robin Patino
- Followed by wine & cheese/tea & cookies
In 2009, Robin Patino closed the door to her Manhattan apartment, leaving a 20-year business career to embark on a two-year journey of healing and self-discovery. Her adventures took her to Costa Rica to train as a yoga teacher, across the United States twice and through northern Spain, where she walked a 400-mile pilgrimage on a hip once destined for replacement surgery. Patino converted her life, business and mentoring background into valuable lessons for finding happiness in all circumstances.
Cost of event: $35 includes books, $25 without book.

As part of our Evolve meditation outreach program, we are honored to announce a very special guest will be visiting with us on the evening of Friday May 11 at 7pm.
KhenPo Tendar, an extraordinary Human Being, and the Abbott from the Bon Dhorpatan Monastery will once again be our honored guest at Evolve Yoga + Wellness.
KhenPo Tendar is visiting the United States in an effort to spread the teachings of Bon Po, and to gain support for the Bon Dhorpatan Monastery’s many charitable works in Nepal. Bon Po is the ancient indigenous religion of Tibet and shares similar views, goals and practices with Buddhism, but traces its origin through a different lineage. It is said that the teaching of Bon Po began approximately 17,000 years ago in the land of Tazig, located to the west of Tibet. Tendar’s Bon Dhorpatan Monastery is located in the Himalaya mountain range approximately 200 miles west of Mount Everest.
The evening will consist of guided meditations along with chanting the Bon Po Buddhist Heart Mantra. Meeting Tendar will no doubt be a unique and extraordinary experience. We look forward to seeing you at Evolve for this extraordinary evening.
