New Classes Starting January 2018!

It’s a new year for all of us, and Evolve Yoga + Wellness is excited to announce the additions of new classes, as well as a few changes to some already on the schedule. Take a peek below to see all that’s happening in 2018!

Rope Wall Barre starting January 4th! Join Hallie Stephenson at Evolve’s new Barre every Thursday from 11:45 to 12:45 p.m. Barre is a form of exercise that utilizes a ballet barre as a tool to systematically isolate muscles throughout the body, take them to fatigue, and then stretch them out resulting in long and lean muscles. Rope Wall Barre takes those core concepts and combines them with the wonderful tool of the rope wall to deepen postures and provide extra support.

Yoga Sculpt starting January 10th! Join Sarah Dill for Yoga Sculpt every Wednesday from 11:45 to 12:45 p.m. Yoga Sculpt infuses all the best parts of a strength training workout with a yoga practice, focusing on the areas of our body where we tend to hold the most stress: the knees, hips, low back and shoulders. Focus on the core is also emphasized in order to improve balance. Take part in an energetically charged 60-minute practice, exploring the movements and exercises, all the while challenging and strengthening that internal muscle of awareness (along with your biceps, lats, and triceps). It’s a whole body, whole mind, whole soul practice that will have your heart pumping, your energy levels soaring, and your soul feeling like it’s on fire!

Power & Grace- Level 2 is now Warm Mixed Level! Starting Monday, January 8th, join Tracey Fritz from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for a class that emphasizes refining and building endurance in standing and seated postures. Students should be familiar with intermediate yoga postures,including inversions and backbends. In these classes you will use your knowledge of postures and breathing to practice exciting, physically demanding and challenging sequences and variations. The room will be lightly heated to about 90 degrees. Please bring a mat, towel and water bottle.

Strength & Flexibility at St. Mary’s College of Maryland! Join Susan Grier for the next 8 week session of Yoga for Strength and Flexibility held on the beautiful riverside campus of St. Mary’s College of Maryland. The next session starts Tuesday, January 9th and will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Child Birth Education Classes starting soon! The next 5-week session of Samantha Feldman’s Let’s Talk About Baby Child Birth classes will be starting on Saturday, January 27th and will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
