Pre-teen Yoga continuing this Fall, Tuesdays, 4:30 – 5:30

This yoga class for ages 9-13 will allow tweens the opportunity to explore numerous yoga and mindfulness skills in a supporting, non-competitive community with their peers. These skills help growing tweens navigate life’s challenges with a little more ease. Yoga practice can help tweens learn to regulate their mental and emotional states, and in turn relieve stress to promote better focus, clarity and creativity. Focus will be placed on improving balance, strength and coordination, and each class will conclude with relaxation, giving tweens self care techniques to enable them to be the best version of themselves (physically and emotionally) in their daily lives. Parents have the option of taking their own adult yoga class in the adjacent studio while their children explore yoga with their peers next door or can drop them off for their yoga class. Mats are available to rent or you can bring your own personal yoga mat.
